So all the interested eligible candidates can start applying for SSC CGL examination from 22nd October 2019. The last date to fill up the SSC CGL application form is on 25th November 2019.

SSC CGL Tier-I exam will commence from 2nd March to 11th March 2020. SSC CGL Tier-II & Tier-III exam will take place from 22nd June 2020 to 25th June 2020. The exam date for the Tier-IV exam has not yet been announced. Physical Fitness Requirements: Apart from the above, there are certain requisite Physical Standards for Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector in CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) and Sub-Inspector in NIA (National Investigation Agency).

SSC CGL 2019 Application Fee:

The required application fee is Rs. 100/-

Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates

Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online

To pay the fee in cash, the candidate should take a print out of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration

Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration

SSC CGL application form is released online on the official website of SSC. There is no offline form available for the same. The online application for SSC CGL 2019 has begun on 22nd October and ended on 27th November 2019.

  • – 1st Step: Visit the official website of SSC CGL-
  • – 2nd Step: Click on the link that reads “Apply” and select the CGL option.
  • – 3rd Step: Select the “Examination” link and click on “Part I Registration.”
  • – 4th Step: Now enter your “Personal”“Contact”, and “Educational Qualification” details.
  • – 5th Step: Now, click on the “Register” button.
  • – 6th Step: You will receive the registration number and password via email.
  • – 7th Step: Log in using your “Registration Number” and “Password” and select “Part-II Registration.”
  • – 8th Step: Now select the payment mode- offline/online and pay the application fees.
  • – 9th Step: Upload your scanned “Photograph” and “Signature.”
  • – 10th Step: Download the form and take its print out for future reference.

There are 4 sections in the Tier 1 exam of SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination 2019, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks.

SSC CGL Tier 1 & Tier 2 exam will be conducted in online mode. There are 4 sections in the Tier 2 exam of SSC CGL, with 100 questions that account for a total of 200 marks. Tier 3 is a descriptive exam and is conducted offline.

Candidates need to write Essay/Letter/Application/ Precis. The Tier 4 of SSC CGL Exam 2019 comprises DEST/CPT these are required for certain government posts. The four tires are indicated below.
